Police Department seized $319,807 and 5 pounds of marijuana

The Austin Police Department's Organized Crime Division's Narcotics Team One made a large cash seizure. The investigation began with a search warrant that resulted in the seizure of two ounces of marijuana at a home in South Austin. A follow-up investigation by the Narcotics Team led them to another residence where a search warrant resulted in the seizure of five pounds of marijuana and $319,807 in cash. One suspect was arrested.
