Mexico Mexican Officials seize $1,023,280 in U.S. Currency during entry
inspection
American Alvaro Gonzalez Quintero
and Mexican Alejandra Martinez Olmedo entered TIjuana, Mexico from the United State and
dis-regared the red light traffic signal which indicated that they were chosen for an entry inspection.
Police and the Mexican Military stopped the subjects and the 1997 Dodge Town Country Van that they were in
was inspected. During the inspection $1,023,280 in U.S. Currency was found. The money was bundled in stacks
wrapped in rubber bands.
