Cocaine, vehicles and cash seized from residence

On May 3, 2006 the Austin Police Department Organized Crime Conspiracy Unit, seized seven kilos of cocaine, four vehicles, three firearms, ammunition and $56,000 in cash after executing a search warrant at 801 Newcastle Drive in Austin.

Detectives had been investigating the home after they received information that it was being used by a organization as a distribution location to move cocaine on a weekly basis. Laura Patricia Lopez Alfaro, age 24 and Maria Alfaro Guerrero, age 50, were arrested at the residence. Both individuals were arrested and received federal charges of Conspiracy to Possess with Intent to Distribute Cocaine.
