Members of the Marion County HIDTA Unit assisted
the Seminole County Sheriff's Office with a controlled delivery of approximately 103 pounds of
marijuana.
Defendant Orestes
Seuque-Sutherland had previously been arrested by Seminole officers for possession of the marijuana.
He agreed to make the delivery to the residence of James Lenn Williams. Sutherland and an
undercover narcotics officer then went to a residence located at 601 NE 53 Court, Ocala. Williams paid
Sutherland $800 for the narcotics. Prior to the delivery, agents obtained a search warrant, which was
executed after the drug delivery.
Williams lived in the home with his wife and 2
children, ages 7 and 9. Williams showed no concern that his children were present during the drug exchange.
Agents also found a handgun, rifle, drug paraphernalia and ecstasy pills in the
house.
Williams was arrested and taken to the Marion
County Jail. The Seminole County Sheriff's Office will be obtaining a warrant in order to arrest and charge
Williams in their case.
