Interdiction deputies find 160 pounds of marijuana on an Adame passenger bus heading to North Carolna from Houston, TX

On Wednesday, November 29, 2006, EBRSO Narcotics Division Interdiction Deputies stopped an Adame passenger bus, I-12 Eastbound at Millerville, traveling from Houston to North Carolina. During the stop, K-9 Laika alerted to several suitcases being carried underneath the bus. These suitcases were found to contain 160 pounds of marijuana. The estimated street value of this seizure is $363,000.00.
