Interdiction deputies find 61 lbs. of marijuana on an El Expresso passenger bus on Interstate 12

On Thursday, November 30, 2006, EBRSO Narcotics Division Interdiction Deputies stopped an El Expresso passenger bus, I-12 Eastbound near Sherwood Blvd., traveling to Florida. During the stop, K-9 Reza alerted to a suitcase being carried underneath the bus. This suitcase was found to contain 61 pounds of marijuana. The estimated street value of this seizure is $138,000.00.
