April 21, 2007 Greene County,
Missouri Trooper finds 154 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop
On Saturday April 21, 2007, an eastbound 2007
Toyota Camry was stopped for a lane change violation on Interstate-44 at Route 266, in Greene County. After
becoming suspicious during the traffic stop verbal consent to search the vehicle was obtained. The search of
the trunk revealed several bundles of marijuana, collectively weighing approximately 154 pounds, concealed in
duffle bags and trash bags.
The driver, Majed S. Nassar, of
Phoenix, Arizona, was arrested for drug trafficking and transported to Greene County
jail.
