State Trooper arrests a man from Texas and seizes 105 pounds of marijuna

On Friday May 4, 2007 a southbound 2007 Pontiac G6 was stopped for a traffic violation on U.S. Highway 65, north of Interstate 44, in Greene County. During the traffic stop, a request by the trooper to search the vehicle was denied. After a canine indicated on the trunk of the Pontiac, an ensuing search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of 105 pounds of marijuana, and three bottles of codeine.

The driver, Joe C. Anderson, of Duncanville, Texas, was arrested for possession of marijuana, and transported to the Greene County Jail.
