Suspect arrested for having 13 kilograms of cocaine, 13 pounds of crystal meth and
cash
Stockton police and federal agents
arrested Antonio Barraza Bazua (from Stockton), 29 years old, for delivering 5 kilograms of
cocaine to an informant on Thursday September 6th, 2007. About 2 hours after the delivery, Barraza was in his
truck and arrested with another 3 kilograms of cocaine. A search of his apparent residence in the 2100 block
of Stormy Creek Court resulted in another seizure of 5 kilograms of cocaine and 13 pounds of crystal
methamphetamine. In addition $139,000 was found at this home. The U.S. Attorney's Office said that the
wholesale price for one kilogram of cocaine in that area is valued at $16,000 to $17,000. The investigation
was a spin-off from a 2005-2006 investigation by the DEA, FBI and included the California Highway Patrol, the
Western El Dorado County Narcotics Enforcement Team, and U.S. Immigration and Custom
Enforcement.
