Mexican federal authorities seize almost 11 tons of cocaine in a shipment of merchandise from Colombia

10,516 packages of cocaine were seized at the Port of Manzanillo in Colima, Mexico by Mexican authorities. The cocaine was mixed in with merchandise in cargo containers. The ship which contained the cocaine had a flag from Hong Kong, but arrived from the city of Buenaventura in Colombia. This cocaine seizure was one of the largest seizures in Mexico's history.
