State Trooper arrests Alfonso Noriega and Ricardo Daltierra with 5
kilograms of cocaine

At 3:10 p.m. an Alabama State Trooper from the Mobile area
conducted a traffic stop on a Ford Pickup truck for a traffic violation.  
The traffic stop was on Interstate 10 eastbound, near mile marker 8.  
After obtaining the driver's consent to search the vehicle, the state
trooper found 5 kilograms of cocaine concealed in the truck's cab.  
The cocaine has a street value of about $125,000.  

The driver was Alfonso Noriega (18 years old) and the passenger
was Ricardo Daltierra (26 years old) from Kenner, Louisiana.  Borth
subjects were charged with trafficking in cocaine and placed in the
Mobile County Jail.
