Dave L. King and Robert Hudak of Virginia arrested with 106 pounds of hydroponic high grade marijuana by Arizona DPS

On Thursday, January 17th 2008 at 6:33 a.m. an Arizona Department of Public Safety Officer stopped a 2007 Chrysler 300 eastbound on Interstate 40 at milepost 260 (near Winslow) for speed and unsafe lane usage. The officer walked his canine "Nino" around the vehicle. The dog alerted to the odor of narcotics. A probable cause search revealed 106.5 pounds of "BC Bud" hydroponic marijuana.The two occupants of the car told the officer that they were driving from Los Angeles back to Virginia. Dave L. King (41 years old) of Fairfax, VA and Robert Hudak (39 years old) of Manassas, VA were both arrested and booked into the Navajo County Jail. They both face charges of possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics for sale and trafficking in narcotics.
