3,379 pounds of marijuana seized from a tractor trailer on I-19

On May 24, 2008 a DPS officer stopped a 1999 tractor trailer for a equipment violation on Interstate 19. When searching the vehicle the officer found 3,379 pounds of marijuana pallets in between a load of tomatoes. The driver was arrested and the vehicle was seized.
