Arizona DPS Officer seized 562 pounds of marijuana on I-17

On August 10, 2008 a Department of Public Services Officer stopped a commercial vehicle for an equipment violation on interstate 17. When the officer searched the vehicle he noticed 20 boxes that were not listed in the manifest. The boxes contained a total of 562 pounds of marijuana. The driver was arrested and the drugs were seized.
