2,800 Pounds of marijuana were seized from a commercial truck in Tucson

On November 25, 2008 the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Bureau of the Department of Public Safety conducted a traffic stop on a dump truck on Valencia Boulevard. During the inspection of the vehicle several bales of marijuana were seen hidden under a dirt cover in the trailer. The total amount of marijuana seized was about 2,800 pounds. The driver Victor M. Siqueros, age 50, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana for sale and transportation of marijuana for sale.
