DPS takes down a hydroponic marijuana growing operation in Mesa County

On December 18, 2008 the Department of Public Safety's state gang task force GIITEM, executed a search warrant on a residence at 235 W 22ND Place in Mesa, Arizona. Once inside the home detectives found at least three dozen marijuana plants in different stages of growth and a box of hydroponic marijuana that was ready for distribution. The lab contained climate controlled rooms with special lighting and electrical tracks. The detectives believe the lab had been in operation for several years from this house.

David White, age 31, was arrested at his place of employment and received charges for: possession of marijuana, sale of marijuana, use of marijuana, production of marijuana and a weapons charge.
