Detectives take down a hydroponic marijuana growing operation.

On January 23, 2009 after months of investigation, Detectives of the Arizona Department of Public Safety, assigned to the Counter Narcotic Alliance in Pima County, executed a search warrant on a house in the 7000 block of North Pelto Path. Detectives took down a sophisticated indoor hydroponic marijuana growing operation. Officers seized over ten thousand dollars worth of hydroponic equipment and 800 marijuana plants weighing over 120 pounds. The interior of the home was completely remodeled to suit the growing operations. Robert Bolanos, 49 years of age was arrested and charged with production of marijuana, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
