Arizona Canine Officer found 529.5 pounds of marijuana in vehicle on I-10

On January 29, 2009 an Arizona Canine Officer stopped a 1995 Ford pickup truck on interstate 10 for displaying expired license plate. The officer ran his canine on the vehicle and the dog alerted the officer to the presence of drugs in the vehicle. When the vehicle was searched, the officer found 529.5 pounds of marijuana. The driver and the passenger were arrested.
