Officers in Arizona seize $115,800 US Dollars on Interstate 40

On February 4, 2009 an Arizona Department of Public Safety Canine Officer stopped a 2008 Chevrolet Impala on interstate 40 for a traffic violation. The officer observed criminal activities and deployed his canine which alerted to the vehicle. The officer searched the vehicle and found in the trunk of a vehicle $110,000 inside a suitcase. Additionally he also found $5,800 in a suitcase that was in the back seat of the Vehicle. The total amount of money seized was $115,800 dollars. Samuel A. Barrett 45 years of age, was arrested and charged with money laundering.
