1,000 pounds of marijuana seized from a tractor trailer on Interstate 17

On February 20, 2009 an Officer from the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Bureau of the Arizona DPS stopped a tractor trailer on interstate 17 for an equipment violation. When the officers searched the vehicle they found about 1,000 pounds of Marijuana hidden within the load of frozen foods. The driver, Thomas Belliveau was in route from Rancho Cucamonga to Westborough Massachusetts. Belliveau was arrested and charged with Transportation of Marijuana for sale.
