311 pounds of marijuana,large bundle of marijuana,border patrol agents,fled to mexico

On March 3, 2009 Border Patrol agents observed subjects loadings large bundles into the trunk of a vehicle. When the agents approached them the vehicle drove away and the subject fled into Mexico. There agents found numerous bundles of marijuana at the scene. Later that day Border Patrol agents stopped a vehicle with same description of the car at incident. When agents searched the trunk they found a large bundle of marijuana. The total amount of marijuana seized was 311.8 pounds. Two people, the vehicle and the drugs were turned in to the Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
