30 pounds of marijuana found hidden in the rear doors of a vehicle

On May 10, 2009, CBP officers became suspicious of a 2008 Grand Prix that was being driven by a 27-year-old man from Elfrida, Ariz. When the vehicle was searched by CBP officers they discovered packages concealed in both rear doors. CBP officers seized about 30 pounds of marijuana from the vehicle. CBP officers seized the vehicle and marijuana. The Elfrida man was turned over to the custody of Immigration and Customs Enforcement for further investigation.
