Arizona DPS Officer uncovered $48,543 in suspected drug cash

On May 13, 2009, an Arizona Department of Public Safety Officer stopped a 2001 Mazda SUV southbound on I-17 near Cordes Junction and arrested one person for a suspended driver's license. A search of the vehicle uncovered $48, 543 in suspected drug cash.
