Border Patrol agents seized 114.08 kilos of cocaine at a checkpoint.

On May 16, 2009, Border Patrol agents assigned to the Freer
Border Patrol station seized 114.08 kilos of cocaine.  The case
unfolded when agents working at the checkpoint on Highway 59
conducted an immigration inspection on the driver of a
tractor-trailer.  During the inspection a Border Patrol canine team
alerted agents toward the trailer, indicating the presence of hidden
contraband or people.  Agents searched the trailer and found two
boxes that were not the manifest list.  The boxes contained 100
bundles of cocaine with a total weight of 114.08 kilograms.
