Border Patrol agents seized 180.4 pounds of marijuana on I-35

On May 17, 2009 agents assigned to the Laredo North Border Patrol station stopped a marijuana smuggling attempt. A Border Patrol canine team alerted on a vehicle that drove into the checkpoint on Interstate 35. Agents searched the vehicle and discovered three bundles of marijuana hidden in the gas tank. The marijuana had a total weight of 180.4 pounds.
