Arizona DPS Officer find $468,800 in a vehicle after a traffic stop

On June 5, 2009, an Arizona DPS Officer arrested the driver of a 2003 Chevrolet pickup on Interstate 40 near Flagstaff after a routine traffic stop. A search of the drivers' vehicle revealed small quantities of marijuana and cocaine in the truck along with $468,800 in suspected drug cash. The driver Scott Patrick Birchard, 50 years of age, from Harmony Council Bluffs, Iowa was arrested and charged with Suspicion of Money Laundering.
