State Trooper finds 15 pounds of meth in a mini-van's hidden compartment
A traffic stop on Highway 81 south of Norfolk led to the discovery of
approximately 15 pounds of methamphetamine.   Around 9:30 a.m.
on Thursday, March 3, 2005, troopers stopped a 1995 Plymouth
mini-van for speeding.  Written consent was given to search the
vehicle.  An NSP K-9 aiding in the search indicated the presence of
drugs.   A search of the mini-van resulted in the discovery of some
15 lbs of methamphetamine in a hidden compartment located in the
rear passenger-cargo area.

53-year-old Raul Jimenez, of St. Paul, Minnesota was lodged in the
Norfolk County Jail on a charge of Possession of a Controlled
Substance With the Intent to Deliver.  The methamphetamine has a
street value estimated at $240,000.
