743 Pounds of Marijuana seized from inside a septic tank truck.

On January 27, 2010 in Tucson Arizona, a DPS officer stopped a septic tank truck with an invalid license plate and invalid commercial vehicle markings. The DPS officer was assisted by a canine officer and Haz Mat. The driver granted the officer permission to search the truck. A search of the holding tank revealed bales of marijuana inside. It was holding approximately 743 pounds of marijuana. The street value of the marijuana is $409,000. The driver was identified as Leonard Salcido, twenty-four years of age. Salcido was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, possession and transportation of marijuana for sale.
